Farewell, Naoto Shimogo
Tonight I went to hang out with some mates and say goodbye to Naoto Shimogo, who has been in New Zealand for the past three years, almost four. We’ve seen him go from Japanese man to english-speaking kiwi, and tomorrow he will be returning to Japan with his family for unknown reasons.
We all went down to the port and decided on going to a gourmet fish n chip shop, but quickly left after we discovered the huge prices. We found another shop and that was much cheaper, and better. We returned to Ngamotu Beach and had tea there, and were attacked by seagulls.
It was a good time had by all, photos, silliness, and fun. It was a very kiwi and fitting farewell for our favorite Japanese mate, Naoto.
